First Volcan Progeny Sell

Lenagh Goldengirl a 12 month old heifer sired by VOLCAN sold for £3045 at the May Ballymena Limousin sale. This young heifer was bred by Mark Lenagh, Randalstown, Co Antrim, N.Ireland. A 6 month old crossbred heifer weighing 310 kg sold for £1060 at the monthly april store cattle sale at Brecon. This VOLCAN daughter was out of a Lim x B.Blue cow and was bred by JAM Davies, Panthowell, Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire. This was one of the youngest heifers in the sale and out of 600 heifers achieved the highest price per kg of 342 p/kg.
