At the Wigton Christmas show of cows both Champion & Reserve cows were purchased by Owain Llyr. Champion was a super 804 kg pure bred British Blue cow (Bringlee Volkawagon x Habil 7176 de Hiettinne x Visconti) sold by I Grainger, Kiln Close, Glasson, Cumbria. Reserve was a great 788 kg Limousin x pure B.Blue Heifer. Top priced overall cow at the Market Drayton Christmas Sale was a super quality pure bred British Blue heifer weighing 938 kg. A Colos Van Daisel x Baron bred heifer was sold by T Okell, Birdswood Farm, Runcorn, Cheshire and purchased by Owain Llyr.
