Garnedd Herd Star on Cefn Gwlad Welsh Farming Programme

Congratulations to Ken, Elen & Hefin Jones, Tyddyn Gethin, Penmachno, Betws y Coed, N.Wales on a fantastic programme. Presenter Dai Jones, Llanilar was overwhelmed by the quality of the stock produced by the family, especially the young stock of the Garnedd pedigree Limousin herd sired by ATTIRANT. The Garnedd herds stock bull ATTIRANT made headlines in October 2011 winning the President's Award for the Best Stock Bull in the 2011 National Limousin Pedigree Herd Competition. The first five bulls sired by ATTIRANT were sold at Carlisle in October 2011 grossing 37,700 gns, averaging 7,540 gns. ATTIRANT was purchased by Owain Llyr in August 2008 from France. He is bred by Earl Lagautriere (same breeder as VOLCAN). Attirant is sired by Usty a son of Neuf. The dam Superbe is sired by Mas du Clo.
